When we navigate through life you may just want to turn off the gps, because your expected destination may be a pit stop on the way. You may not end there. I thought my life was going to be linear. Nursing school, Nurse Practitioner school and a clinic. It actually looked like nursing school, become a RN, start nurse practitioner school, drop out, write a book, leave nursing, start a business, start a ministry, fight the urge to go back (because entrepreneurship is hard😅), and just be obedient.

Guard Your Mouth, it’s the Proverbs way.

This verse had me doing a triple read like wait, do I guard my mouth with the thought of protecting my life. We have to make sure we are mindful of what we speak about. I don’t think we always understand the accountability that comes with the words we say. I also loved this because it reminds us yet again that things are voice activated. It also tells me it’s not bad to speak. It necessary that we speak the things that God tells us we should speak.

Its Time We Teach Our Children About God

I took the time to really pay attention and teach her about God the best way I know and as the Holy Spirit leads us. Through her, I strengthen my muscles and began to care for other children in my family this way. To just give them pieces and introduce them to who God was. In the bible it states that we have to be like a child to enter the Kingdom of heaven.
