sTANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I WILL NEVER [under any circumstances] DESERT YOU [nor give you up nor leave you without support  nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], NOR WILL I FORSAKE or LET YOU DOWN or RELAX MY HOLD ON YOU [assuredly not]!”

When we hear the promises that God has given directly to us, we get excited! We start thinking about how its going to be so great, and how amazing God is in that place. After the promise is made to us we start moving towards either intentionally or unintentionally. After time has passed we start to worry that it is not going to happen.

I want to free you and let you know that it is on the way and you are close or maybe right in the middle. Yep, the middle. Being in the middle its important to remember a few things about it. I want you to be encouraged that God will never leave or forsake you. Even in the middle He is with you and is making things happen for you. Its important that you stay encouraged and do not forget that he is still there.

1. Remember in the middle there is still a people you are called to. It could be your family, children or your job. It could also be your 3 or 12 faithful followers or that friend you seem to minister to or pray for a lot. Although you haven’t seen the manifestation of your promise, you still have work to do.
2. Remember in the middle, obedience is key. You have to carefully obey God at any time, but in the middle its alot of testing. God wants to know you can be trusted with what he has for you.
3. The last thing to remember about the middle, is God builds you and prepares you for the place He has for you. Let him prune and refine you how he sees fit, its so important that you allow this.

Being in the middle can seem hard, tedious and down right frustrating. Be encouraged that God has your back and has not left you. He is right there working on your behalf.
