The Living Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. -John1:1, KJV

This is the focus area that I have been heavily focused on lately. Lately God has asked me to study Jesus Christ and it started to be confirmed. I had to take a step back and really think about why? It hit me like a ton of bricks.
We assume we know Jesus Christ just because we say his name and heard about him in church. I do not know about you, but I do not know Jesus in the way that I would like to. He literally came down and walked and talked with the disciples. It was not an easy thing to do during that time. He had a lot of people against Him and the assignment that was on his life during that time. Knowing Jesus could give us a glimpse into what life may look like for us.
Before I dive into the main topic of the living word, I want to talk about something I have been observing lately. I do not think its by mistake either. In christian based Facebook Groups, you mention anything dealing with witchcraft its a topic of discussion and understanding. You see people seeking out the truth and going to God for the answer. Outside of these groups it could be the same post and attacks happen. The attacks can be brutal and the original poster always defends their stance no matter what. Then even people who all follow satan divide their selves between white and dark magic I believe because they do noy know the difference. Even believers who participates in these activities go on the defense instead of seeking knowledge.
What I took from this was, this must be similar to how it was when Jesus was on earth. He had the 12 close to him that he could teach and they would be open to learning and understanding and the multitudes rejected him even people who supposedly believed in HIS father, where he came from. This taught me a major lesson in knowing the importance of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Who is Jesus Anyway?
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14. KJV
Jesus was the word made in flesh, he was a man and he was God. He was the way to our father, also known as the son of God. There are three basic reasons he came
Why was Jesus Sent Here?
To teach about the Kingdom of God Mark 13:10-11
To establish the Kingdom of God on earth Matthew 16:18
To create a direct way to the father that was supernatural, John 14:6-7
To save us from our sins and give us the abundant life- John 3:16 KJV; John10:10
Who Is He?
Son of God- John 3:16
Advocate 1 John 2:1-2
So many other things but I can not give the whole bible in one post.
He is apart of the holy trinity. This is a basic start to understand the importance of Jesus Christ and his position in the Kingdom. We have to learn about his life to know more about our own. It will give you insight on what it truly is like to be sold out for our father. Clearly, the book of John is a good starting point for you to learn more about Jesus, also consider Luke, Matthew, and Mark.
